After a midnight stroll to the hospital, in what we thought was "it", we ended up getting home after 3am. Serious, close contractions caused us to venture out. But, alas, no action. The 36th week begins tomorrow and Tammy has visited the doctor again this morning. They did finally remove about 2 liters of fluid, but they had to cease because the contractions were pushing out the needle. She is still miserable, but hanging on. Of course, we want things to work out best for Eli, but some relief for her would be wonderful. They are doing an FLM (fetal lung maturity) test on the fluid removed, and if his lungs are mature enough, it is likely they will take him tomorrow.
Please pray for God's will, first and foremost, but we would love to see his lungs mature enough so we can get things rolling. The results will take around three hours, so around 3pm, we should know something. Pray for clear direction for the doctor and the test results, and also relief for Tammy. She is a trooper, but it is really taking it's toll. Most of all, pray for God to be glorified during this whole situation.
