Elijah is beginning to be weaned from his ventilator to room air today. Please pray that he is able to tolerate the change on his lungs. He has been on the vent for at least a month and for him that is a long time on his little lungs. Also he is twitching more, which is good and means that the paralytic did not do any damage to his muscles. He is still sedated and is getting some really good sleep so he can heal. We just pray everything continues to go as well as it has and praise God for the progress so far.

Please pray for our other boys as they are getting homesick as well. Also, Matthew will need to come home soon for school and that will be hard on all of us.

Here is an update on the Swenson family: Last week they trusted the Lord to either heal their baby girl or take or home with him. They were able to spend her last days here on earth in a private room with only family. Emmanuelle went to be with Jesus last Wednesday. I talked with mom that afternoon and she is so strong in her faith it was such a testimony to me. Please continue to pray for them as they heal from this tragedy. However, she said to me they would continue to give GOd praise in all things even this situation. WOW!!!!
