Good Sunday Afternoon

I hope everyone had a nice morning at church. Boy we really miss being able to get up as a FAMILY and go to worship the Lord with our church family. Anyway, Elijah continues to do well. They have completely stopped his TPN nutrition and he is getting only formula through his g tube. They have lowered his ventilator rate to extibatable (sp. ???). Which basically means he is breathing on his own with no support and getting some oxygen. This is an answered prayer because it means he hopefully will tolerate the extibation well. He weighs 8lb. 2 oz. and is 21 inches long and he is growing out of his little bed.....so maybe soon we will move to a big boy crib. Please pray that he doesn't have any leaks when they do the esophagram on Monday or Tuesday. IF there are no leaks he will be able to come off some of his tubes and equipment. Thanks for all the prayers. We miss each one of you and hope to see you soon. we think we will be here another three weeks at least, but prayer for sooner. Talk to you soon.
