29th Week

We now begin the 29th week of pregnancy. Tammy had to go to the hospital yesterday with strong contractions. They were able to remove about half a liter of fluid, but the baby was moving too much and getting too close to the needle to remove any more. She had to stay the night. She had a good night last night with very little, if any, contractions. Therefore, they did not want to remove any more fluid, which could cause the contractions to start again. They were able to give her a dose of steroids for his lung development. If she is not having strong contractions overnight tonight, then she will get to come home tomorrow. At this point, they are letting a "sleeping dog lie" to avoid upsetting the uterus. It is possible she will have to have more fluid taken off in a few days. It would be great for him to stay in at least 3 more weeks, which would allow his lungs to better develop. We are praying for this. Thanks again to all those who are continuing to pray. He is still answering them and we treasure each and every one!

God bless,

Ryan
