Short Update

Elijah is continuing to do well. He is off the ventilator and breathing on his own. Everything looks well and he should begin eating through his feeding tube sometime later today. They are going to begin with Pedialyte and gradually move to milk. Of course, they will monitor each step of the way to see how he tolerates the progression. God is so good that he is doing this well at this point.

Tammy is still in the hospital. Her stomach is getting back in line. She was extremely nauseated last night, so they decided to keep her. She felt better tonight when we visited. The boys were able to spend some time with Elijah tonight. And he opened his eyes as they talked to him. They are so excited to have a baby brother and are ready for him to come home.

By the way, his name is Elijah Ryan. I deferred to Mama on this one. It's hard to argue with her, especially since all she has been through ;-).
