Monday 8/25

Another day in the big city.... Elijah is doing well and is still on the ventilator. At this time, they are planning to do a scope on his nose, throat, and trachea on Wednesday (not sure the time) to find out what is going on. Hopefully, that will show if there are any anatomical issues. He does well when he is on the vent, but struggles when he is off. We pray, and ask you to do the same, for a clear answer as to why he is having these issues and clear direction as to how to fix them. Dr. Hess stopped by today and reassured us everything was going to be okay. That is comforting, as we place alot of trust in him. We shall wait and see what the next step is. God has given us rest over the past few days, and Eli as well. That is good, as we didn't get much before then. Tammy's aunt and uncle came up from Kentucky for a few days. It is good to see familiar faces that speak the same language as we do!! These Minne-SOH-Tan's all talk funny. We will do our best to post when we find out some more information. Until then....
